As the sport of lacrosse continues to grow and evolve Prime Time is on the forefront on developing the most competitive lacrosse tournament schedule and cutting edge training opportunities for our players.
Our players are offered a year-round training program for the fall, winter, spring and summer season. We believe strongly in the multi-sport athlete and the only requirement, if selected for one of our organization’s elite summer teams, is participation in the summer program. We do not discourage other sport opportunities/participation that will develop a player’s athletic profile and skill set.
In the fall, we our fall lacrosse teams for all Prime Time age levels. With early recruiting becoming earlier and earlier the fall lacrosse season has become an integral part of the recruiting process. Our three high school teams attend three of the premier recruiting tournaments in November and have a number of indoor and outdoor practices.
For our youth teams (3rd – 8th grade), we offer a fall tournament option, which includes attending the Yale Bulldog Fall Bash and five practices. All fall teams are issued the latest Prime Time swag designed by Lacrosse Unlimited.
Throughout the winter season our players are offered position specific training at our elite training clinic held at Chelsea Piers Stamford CT every Thursday night starting in December. At these clinics our coaching staff works to develop our players skill sets for their position throughout our hour and half session. This clinic is for Prime Time players only and is essential to our player development platform for our players. Coming in the winter of 2017, we will be implementing a box tournament option for our players to help teach the growing importance of that skill set.
In the spring season, we do offer a number of clinics and training opportunities for our players. We do strongly encourage our players to participate in there town season as we believe in the relationships and development of every town program as those are the players/friends our players will be competing alongside with in high school for state and sectional championships.
Our summer season begins in May and concludes by the middle of July as every Prime Time team will compete in four to five summer events in addition to 15-20 practices. Our youth teams (3rd through 8th grade) are provided with three coaches per team to ensure maximum contact time with our seasoned staff to ensure their development as a player is constantly growing.
